The Eigth Hornchurch was registered as a Scout Group on 16th June 1936 - we are seventy years old this year!!! To celebrate we invited everybody in the Group to a family BBQ at the Headquarters in Chelmsford Drive.

We would like to thank everybody that attended this event to make it a success.

Several important issues were raised at the AGM and although we reflected on another successful year gone we also look to the future and made a commitment to renovate the HQ building and grounds with the aid of parent power - working parties.
